Prototypes Ordered
The next round of prototypes are now out for manufacture. There’s 5 being assembled and after I’ve done the initial testing I’ll be getting these in the hands of some beta-testers. Once we’ve kicked the tires a bit we’ll be ready with the proper production-ready design.
What’s next?
I’ve started approaching manufacturers about cases. I’m sticking with the existing design for this first round of prototypes (4mm birch) but in the long run there are so many other types of wood which would be suitable for this project that I think we’ll try and have a couple of options available to people when we launch. I’m thinking walnut will look nice for some contrast. If you’ve any strong feelings on this please let me know!
